Breathe with Pufi — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Breathe with Pufi (also previously named Breathe Guide and Breathe For Life), developed by Roman Ventskus, provides guided breathing exercises and a virtual otter companion. This policy describes the current iPhone app, its widgets and Apple Watch companion.

Your practice and pet data

Your breathing history, mood check-ins, preferences and Pufi’s progress are stored on your device. The app shares the pet information needed for its widgets within its own App Group. If you use the Apple Watch companion, pet status and completed practice information are exchanged between your paired devices using Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework. We do not send your breathing history, mood check-ins or pet progress to a developer-operated server.

Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional. With your permission, Breathe can save completed breathing sessions as Mindful Minutes and read heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep and respiratory rate to display insights. Health data is processed on your device. Breathe does not send this data to the developer or RevenueCat, use it for advertising, or sell it. You can change or revoke access in Apple Health or your device’s privacy settings. The app works without granting Health access.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes payments. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore access and manage subscription entitlements, and to understand aggregate subscription performance. RevenueCat receives purchase information and a randomly generated app user identifier. Breathe does not require an account or supply your name or email address to RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment card details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.

Reminders and tracking

Daily reminders are optional local notifications. You can disable them in the app or system settings. Breathe does not display third-party advertising, access the advertising identifier, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising.

Support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so that we can respond. Please do not send health records or other sensitive information unless needed for your request. Support messages are retained only as needed to handle the request and applicable legal obligations.

Your choices and retention

You can use the free breathing practices without subscribing or connecting Apple Health. Removing the app removes its local app data; data already saved to Apple Health can be managed separately in Apple Health. Removing the app does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction information as needed to provide subscription services and meet their obligations. Contact us to request help with access or deletion of information held by us or our service providers. Device backups may retain data according to your Apple settings.
